NOW HIRING – INDUSTRIAL JANITOR

Location: Zellwood, FL
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Industrial Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for cleaning production areas, machinery, common areas, and surrounding areas while following company safety, sanitation, GMP, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain breakrooms, bathrooms, warehouse, and production areas.
• Clean and organize around molding machines and walking areas.
• Maintain hand-washing stations and restock supplies.
• Remove and properly dispose of trash.
• Keep cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies organized.
• Assist with spills and other cleanup needs throughout the plant.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation during preventive maintenance on machines.
• Maintain clean and hygienic work areas.
• Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and company procedures.
• Report problems or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required forms and electronic documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish .
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Previous janitorial, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of light equipment operation or maintenance is a plus.
• Must be reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must be willing to complete required safety and job training.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the workday.

• Regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work from ladders and platforms when needed.

Work Environment

The position may involve wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, outdoor conditions, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and loud noise. Employees may occasionally be exposed to extreme heat or cold.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Employees must be available to work weekends as needed based on department needs and attend weekly safety meetings and additional training when scheduled.
